He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fithian and Nancy Hadley Mitchell; and his brother Gregory Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Day Mitchell; his son Rodney Allen Mitchell (Amanda Harney) of Bourbon County; his stepsons, James S. Martin, Jr. of Nicholas County, David Clay Martin (Swanda) of Nicholas County and Dwayne Martin (Tiffany) of Paris; and his granddaughters, Bella, Sicily, Alana and Hadley Mitchell. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
