She is survived by: her former husbands, Carl Dale Vaughn and Allen Wayne Haynes; her daughters, Crystal Mills of Cannon and Angela Lawson (James) of Cannon; her stepdaughter Tammy Smith (Harlan) of Barbourville; her brothers, Jimmy Messer (Christine) of Girdler, Floyd Messer (Helen) of Girdler, Arvil Messer of Girdler, Dexter Messer (Sue) of Girdler and Chester Messer (Shirley) of Barbourville; her sister-in-law Dora Messer of Illinois; her grandchildren, Miranda Lawson, Dustin Tyler Eric Mills and Zachary Allan Logan Broughton; and her close friends, Debbie Turner and Judy Fields.
