He was predeceased by: his parents, Commiedore Dunn and Mattie Epperson Dunn; his parents-in-law, Fount and Marie Root; his siblings, Billy Jack Dunn, Roger Dale Dunn and Loretta Mills; his grandchildren, Ambria Dunn and Jeffrey Duce Dunn; and his brothers-in-law, Lucky Hammond and Don Frost.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Dunn of Cannon; his children, Jeffrey Allen Dunn (Sara) of Bowling Green, Jodi of Woollum, David Dunn of Cannon, James Edward Dunn, Kelly of Cannon, Billy Joe Dunn of Barbourville, Bobby Dunn (Brenda) of Woollum, Kathy Stroop (Nasby) of Frankfort, Stacie Marie Hammond (James) of Knoxville, TN, Billie Joyce Bright (Michael) of Woollum, Tina Kay Mills (Billy) of Barbourville, Rebecca Carol Dunn of Barbourville, Donna Elliott (Doyle) of Corbin and Lenora Dunn of Indiana; his adoptive children, Willie, Carol Epperson, Tim, Crystal Winnes, Billy and Debbie Taylor; his siblings, Mary Hammond of Florida, Kathi Baker (Keith) of North Carolina, Commie Dunn (Mary) of Florida and Larry Dunn (Pat) of Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Frost of Knoxville, TN, Barbara Bargo (Ted) of Barbourville and James Loyd Root (Woody Dunn) of Woollum; and his great grandchildren, Mike Helton, Jimmy Miller, Ronnie Stout, Dewayne Smith, Mickey Smith, Billy Taylor, Ted Bargo, Rick Heath, Edward Carter, Dr. West, LaShonda Ferguson and Barbara Bargo. He is also survived by brother; 26 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906).
