She was predeceased by: her husband Coy Reid Forbis; her parents, Frank Dennison and Virgie Wright; and her siblings, Lola Dennison Lamb, Jim Dennison, Hazel Sharp and Shirley Keller.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Forbis (Janie), Pam Branstetter (Doug), Jimmy Forbis (Debby) and Tommy Forbis (Vicki); her grandchildren, Ryan Forbis (Jessica), Mallory Amburgey (Scott), Greg Branstetter (Cindy), Amanda Warren (Jeremy), Jayme Logsdon (Jason), Kyle Forbis, Lana McChesney (Jon) and Dr. Courtney Forbis (Daniel Janes); her great grandchildren, Chloe Defevers, Addison Forbis, Lauren Forbis, Chandler Branstetter, Graham Branstetter, Matthew B. Middleton, Gracie B. Pike, Caleb Logsdon, Cadie Logsdon, Collin Logsdon, Evy McChesney, Claudia McChesney and Harlow Amburgey; and her siblings, Howard Dennison, Connie Massey and Willie Mae Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Whickerville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Ola D. Forbis to the Monroe Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Whickerville Cemetery, or the Pikeview Cemetery.
