With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Luther Childress of Canmer, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Childress and Susie Glass Childress; his wife Betty Childress; and his brother Carl Childress. He is survived by: his children, Gary Childress (Bonnie) of Magnolia, KY and Karen Guffey (Wes) of Canmer, KY; his grandchildren, Jacob Guffey (Hannah), Kayla Goodman (Lee), Rachel Owens (Caleb), Hope Arterburn (Jason) and Kyle Childress (Caitlynn); and his sisters, Flora Murray and Betty Sue Gober. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
