He is survived by: his wife Flossie Jewell; his children, Myra Morgan (Todd) of Hardyville, KY and Deon Jewell of Canmer, KY; his grandchildren, Kelsey Jewell of Canmer, KY, Candice Murphy (Derick) of Hardyville, KY, Whitney Jewell of Canmer, KY, Isaiah Morgan (Corey), Tiffaney Jewell of Canmer, KY, Haley Defevers (Jonathan) and Riley Jewell of Canmer, KY; and his siblings, Mary Ruth Hodges (Bobby) of Horse Cave, KY, Becky Sydnor (Elwood) of Canmer, KY, Peggy Baptiste (Arch) of Magnolia, KY, Tammie Druen (Bill) of Linwood, KY, Lois Krommer (John) of Magnolia, KY, Allen Jewell of Legrande, KY, Freddie Jewell (Becky) of Canmer, KY and Dean Jewell (Tonjela) of Linwood, KY. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

The family has chosen to have public services however due to heightened risk of COVID-19 epxosure, the family requests all visitors to please wear a mask.
