It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bettie Jane Wells of Canmer, Kentucky, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scholtz and Ailene Tallieu Scholtz; her husband Charles Francis Wells; her son Gregory Wells; and her sister Bonnie Zimmerman.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Powell (Keith), Kenneth Wells (Karen), David Wells (Kay) and Kevin Wells (Stacie); her grandchildren, Ryan Wells (Kali), Hope Wells, Ashley Terry (Tyler), Alex Wells, Zachary Wells (Alyce), Kaylin Wells (Tori), Connor Wells, Margaret Wells, Joshua Jones, Lindsey Wright (Jake) and Taylor Powell; her great grandchildren, Weston Wright, Ronin Wells, Lucah Wells and Ryleigh-Rae Wells; her sister Donna Ware (Don); and her brother-in-law Bob Zimmerman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter Kaden Tower 6100 Dutchmans LN STE 401 Louisville, Kentucky 40205-3284.
