He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pierce and Lillie Haynes Pierce; his son Garrill Lewis; and his great grandchild Parker Embry. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bratcher Pierce of Caneyville; his children, Tony Pierce (Tammy) of Clarkson, Jeff Nash (Tammy) of Caneyville, Cathy Embry (Kent) of Leitchfield and Donna Pierce of Caneyville; and his daughter-in-law Anita Lewis of Caneyville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
