He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Newton of Short Creek, KY; his sisters, Margaret Farris of Leitchfield, Melvinia Wilson of New Albany, IN and Helen Farris of Caneyville; and his nieces and nephews, Margie Farris, Barbara Bratcher, Peggy Figg, Alisa Givens, Gilbert Wilson, Chris Wilson, Donnie Farris, Anthony Farris, Michael Campbell, Russell Hack and Karl Hack.
