She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Mudd and Mertie Elder Mudd; her husband Sherman Embry; her siblings, Marjorie Mudd, Louise Hack, Lorena Armes, JT, Charles and Louis; and her granddaughter Lauren Christina Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Skaggs (Gregg) of Millwood and Anthony Embry (Cheryl) of Caneyville; her brother Roy Mudd, Jr. of Caneyville; her grandchildren, Stacey Wilt (Phillip), Lindsay Gilkey (Nick), Brittany Howard (Trevor), Brent Embry (Lauren), Amy Embry (Caleb) and Jessi Bryant; her stepgrandchildren, Heather Dickerson (Chris), Brittany Martin (Jason), Matthew Skaggs (Misty), Andrew Skaggs and Christopher Skaggs; and her close friend Harl Woosley. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
