She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brooks and Hettie Mae Flener Brooks; and her sister Tavie Bowman. She is survived by: her husband Presto Gary of Caneyville, KY; her children, Deanna Gary of Leitchfield, Donita Ashley (Tootie) of Anneta, Daniel Gary of Caneyville, Denisa Geary of Caneyville and David Gary (Brittany) of Caneyville; her grandchildren, Kelli (Aaron), Brena (Logan), Tyler (Kursten), Erin, Shelby, Preston, Izzy, Abby, Bentley, McKinley, Halley Jo and Lilley; her great grandchildren, Stella Jo, Emma and Langston; her brothers, Richard Brooks (Karen) and Vivin Brooks; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Fishburn and James Gary (Florence).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
