He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Hesson and Mary Wells Hamilton; and his brother Ronnie Hesson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Haycraft Hesson of Caneyville; and his children, Jerry Hesson Jr. (Barbara) of Indianapolis, IN, Alisa Mumford (Scott) of Jacksonville, FL, Rhonda Jackson (Darrell) of Jacksonville, FL, Marty Huffman of Shepherdsville, KY, Mike Huffman (Sandy) of Sarasota, Marcy Stanton (Joey) of Caneyville, KY and Thomas Montgomery of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
