He is survived by : his wife Erlene Cummings Phelps; his children, Sharon Groover (Dan) of Illinois and Darrell Phelps of Florida; his grandchildren, Taryn Edmondson (Brad), Tawny Phelps and Tayler Phelps; and his great grandchild Judah Edmondson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
