He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Beatty and Ida Dimple Payton Beatty; and his siblings, Mitchell Beatty, Florence Oller, Betty Williams, Phillip and Anderson Beatty.
He is survived by: his wife Renorma Preston Beatty; his sons, Aubrey Beatty (Teresa) of Shrewsbury, Gerald Beatty (Shirley) of Caneyville and Mike Beatty (Wanda) of Caneyville; and his grandchildren, Kindra Heaton (Rob), Christopher Beatty (Jordan), Shanda Meredith (Jon), Shane Beatty (Jessica) and Seth Beatty (Darien). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
