He is survived by: his wife Gretel Hering (Henning) of Framingham; his children-in-law, Michael Hering, Lisa Hering of Lafayette, CO, Stephanie Sisle, Larry Sisle of Annapolis, MD and Peter Hering of Hamburg; his sister Renate Sesemann of Offenbach; his grandchildren, Joey, Brian and Lars; and also Germany.
