He is survived by: his wife Lucy Profitt Alexander of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Ronald Ray Alexander (Loretta) of Tampa, Florida and Rhonda Lynne Goff (Gregory) of Campton, Kentucky; and his siblings, Jim Alexander (Debbie) of Rogers, Wendell Alexander of Campton, Michael Alexander of Rogers, Kentucky, Gracie Scott of Rogers, Kentucky, Shirley Alexander and Kathy Berger. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
