He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Risner and Joyce Earley Risner; his niece Brandy Risner; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Rosenfelt and Debbie Stacy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Miller Risner of Campton, Kentucky; his sons, Justin Risner of Lexington and Ryan Risner (Lauren) of Alexandria, Kentucky; his grandchild Rowan Ford Risner; his brothers, Randy Risner (Norma) of West Liberty and Todd Earley of Mize, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Kyle Risner (Megan), Will Rosenfelt (Annie), Erica Stegman (Jason) and Sarah Hurst; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Rosenfelt and Larry Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kentucky Chapter of the ALS Association.
