He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Davis (Jack) and Darlene Minton Patton; his grandparents, Courtney, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Tolson Patton, Jim and Nancy Elam Minton; and his sisters, Nancy Patton, Caroline Patton and Delores "Crickett" Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sue Richardson Patton of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Matthew Bass (Ruth) of Corinth, Timothy Bass (Suprena) of Frenchburg, Jeff Patton (Tijuana) of Cincinnati, Bill Patton of Campton, Kentucky, Debbie McGuire (Donnie) of West Liberty, Missy Patton (James), Angie Tye (Kevin) of Cincinnati, Karen Bass (Bill Hatton) of Rogers and Betty Patton of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, Dave Patton (Jackie) of Booneville, James Patton (Missy) of Campton, Donnie Ray Patton of Campton, Bill Globe of Oregon, Cleta Gilrey (Jeff), Chrissie Crowe (Cash), Ethel Carpenter (Don), Joey Blair of Stanton, Glenda Miller (Arthur) of Campton and Betty Jett of Campton, Kentucky. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren.
