He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Faulkner Cox of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Cody Cox (Katie) of Campton, Kentucky, Abby Cox (Steve) of Campton, Kentucky and Maranda Cox of Campton, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Alexa Cox, Wyatt Cox, Lance Profitt and Gage Alexander; and his sister Leshia Harris of Hazel Green, Kentucky..
