He was predeceased by: his parents, Delilah Taublee and Asa Buford Rose; his siblings, Rainey Rose (Delores), Lenville Rose (Inez), Shockey Rose (Ruth), Phillip Rose, Pauline Digonno (John), Lodean Long (Victor), Josephine Rose (Rodney) and Martha Lane (Roy); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Atkisson and Ira "Porky" Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Arnett Rose; his daughters, Sherry Profitt (Kenny) of Rogers, Terry Spencer (Steve) of Pine Ridge, Deanna Moore (Mike Baird) of Sumter and Jeanna Rose of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Seth Profitt (Sarah) of Arrington, Lauren Moore (Bryant Stokes) of Sumter, Erin Spencer of Lexington and Lindsey Moore of Sumter; his great grandchild William Stokes of Sumter; his sisters, Patricia Atkisson of Fort Worth and Charlotte Parks of Campton, Kentucky; his sister-in-law Donna Rose of Lakeland, Florida; his close friend Dorsey "Lee Boy" Terrill; and his nephew Dorsey Lane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
