She is survived by: her son Kevin Welch (Jessica) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; her siblings, Shelba Slayton of Campton, Kentucky, William Jackson Slayton of Columbus and Eddie Gene Slayton (Susan) of Wisconsin; her grandmother Bella; and her close friend Linda Teague. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
