She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie McSorley and Dixie Fortner McSorley; her husband Forest Eugene Akers; her daughter Pearlie Irene Hall; and her brothers, Frank McSorley, Benny McSorley, Bob McSorley and James McSorley.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Ray Akers (Sandy) of Salyersville, Jody Akers (Elizabeth) of Lee City, John Wesley, Penny Hall of Hazel Green and Ginger Moore (Jay) of West Liberty, Kentucky; her sister Billow Hall of Ashland, Kentucky; and her son-in-law Tony Hall of Lee City, Kentucky. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
