He is survived by: his children, Robert Louis Burdge of Milledgeville, Georgia, Louis Edward Burdge III of Milledgeville, Georgia, Brandy Michelle Yates of Milledgeville, Georgia and Karen Nicole Burdge of Milledgeville, Georgia; his close friend Evelynn Hudson of Campton, Kentucky; his half-brothers, Bryon Cline of Campton, William Kimsey of Lizella and Carl Hatfield of Brooksville, Florida; and his sister Kathy Burdge Hall of Macon Georgia. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
