He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Perkins and Helena Anderson Perkins; and his siblings, Theodore Russell Perkins, Orville Edgar Perkins, Linda Green and Patricia Muncy.
He is survived by: his sister Norma Salley (Ronnie) of Campton, Kentucky; and his close friend Felica Muncy of Harlan County, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the House of Hope Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
