He was predeceased by: his parents, John Floyd Byrd and Hazel Fern Faulkner Byrd; his sons, Ricky Lee Byrd and Aaron Brown; his granddaughter Misty Dawn Byrd; and his siblings, Jack F. Byrd, Thomas I. Byrd, Bonnie Faye Plummons and Henrietta Byrd.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Byrd (Sandy) of Campton, James T. Byrd of Grayson, Jimmy D. Byrd of Middletown, Ohio and Cherri Trich (Bryan) of Lexington, Kentucky; and his siblings, Ralph D. Byrd of Dayton, Ohio, Thelma Esther Main (John) of Delaware and Janie Sue Smith of Miamisburg, Ohio.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
