He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shouse and Alice McIntosh Shouse; his granddaughter Rachel Goff; and his siblings, Hershel Shouse, J. L. Shouse, Paul Shouse, Hubert Shouse, Betty Shouse, Mary Shouse, Bonnie Oaks, Dorothy McClure and Ruby Skidmoore.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Osborne Shouse of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Pollyanna Shouse Gilbert (Mike) of Campton, Kentucky, Mike Goff of Campton, Greg Goff (Lynn) of Campton and David Goff of Morehead, Kentucky; his grandsons, Nathan Goff (Tiffany) and Derek Goff; and his great grandchildren, Glaysea Rayne Goff, Christian Ryan Goff and Hailey Raelynn Goff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.
