He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Estes and Clora White Estes; his son Benjamin Joe Estes; and his siblings, Harlan Estes, Marvin Estes, Orville Estes, Alonzo Estes, Hazel McCormick, Ruth Drake and Magdalene Reigelsperger.
He is survived by: his wife Orettis H. Estes of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Steven Eugene Estes (Michelle) of Beattyville, Timothy Andrew Estes (Elizabeth) of Canton, Ohio and Teresa Gail Estes Johnson (Granville) of Beattyville, Kentucky; his stepsons, Tony Ray Peck of Campton and Jeffrey Clay Peck (Wendy) of Wellington, Kentucky; and his brothers, Larry Joe Estes of Beattyville and Wallace Estes (Nancy) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Directors (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Directors Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301).
