He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Donald Netcher and Margaret Hughes Nethcer; his wife Nellie Irene Venters Netcher; and his son Kearney Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Billy Joe Adkins of Ohio, Opal Miller of Middletown, Karen Jones (Terry) of Georgia and Juanita Adkins of Maytown, Kentucky; and also Rosemary Adkins of Maytown, Kentucky.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
