He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Taulbee and Virgie Taulbee Taulbee; his wife Betty Terrill Taulbee; and his siblings, Kendall Taulbee, James "Bud" Taulbee and Eunice Stone.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce Taulbee (Alberta) of Campton, Kentucky, Joy Rose (Jeff) of Campton and Rosea King of Paris, Kentucky; and his sister Alice Cornett of Dwarf, Kentucky.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
