It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Smith of Campton, Kentucky, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Brian is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Brian's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Smith and Francis Smith (Sparks); his wife Barbara Smith; and his brothers, Dexter L. Smith and Timothy C. Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, John C and Connie Griffin (Lola Ray). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home (3450 KY-11, Booneville, KY 41314). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
