He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dickey and Ruby Hounshell Dickey; and his wife Alice "Skippy" Tackett Dickey. He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Tackett of Mt. Sterling, Aaron Ross Dickey (Sydney) of Winchester, Kentucky and Kizannah Jean Conley (Nick) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and his siblings, George Dickey (Vivian) of Bethany, Kentucky, Dean Dickey (Sue) of Bethany, Kentucky, Kathy Gibbs of Hazel Green and Glenda Kincaid (Vaughn) of Inez, Kentucky.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
