She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Garnett Bishop; and her sister W. F. Chappel. She is survived by: her children, Genean Lane (Barry), Shelly Bishop and Barry Bishop (Rebecca) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Chris Pruyear (Andrea) of Campbellsville, Deena Collings of Campbellsville, Sara Bolden (Ben) of Campbellsville, Heather Ferrell of Campbellsville, Jared Reynolds (Evelyn) of Campbellsville, Shannon Gabehart (Travis) of Campbellsville and Chance Bishop (Brittany) of Campbellsville; her brother Dean Chappel (Wilma) of Canton, IL.; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lois Powell of Campbellsville and Charlene Chappel of Colorado.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the East Campbellsville Church of God (357 Eastport Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the East Campbellsville Church of God (Chappel Cemetery) (357 Eastport Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Chappel Cemetery.
