He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. "Curly" Giles and Clodean Campbell Giles. He is survived by: his children, Allison Warren (Greg) of Campbellsville, Jacob Giles and Jordan Giles of Lebanon; his fiancé Carmel Mattingly of Lebanon; and his siblings, Gary Giles (Jenny) of Greensburg and Diane Wood (Jerry) of Elkhorn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
