He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bill and Lennie Taylor (Pryor); his wife Lena Pearl Taylor; his children, Karen Taylor and Thomas Taylor; his siblings, Willie Mae Taylor, Catherine Shockency, Leonard, Ralph, Phillip, Ester and Henry Arthur Taylor; his niece Brandi Barnett; and his nephews, Theodore Taylor, Luther Ray Taylor and Tyron VaShawn Taylor, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Annetta Young, Michael Lee Hall, Martha Linton and Anthony "Tony" Taylor; and his grandchildren, Lanetta (Lamont Cecil), Corie Barnett, Harold Jermaine Barnett, Sheldon Taylor Owens (Chantini), Tyron Taylor and Marquita Taylor.
