He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelbert Cox and Dorothy Olean Cox (Garrett); and his grandparents, Darlis, Viola Garrett Cox, Sam Allen and Sally Garrett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Edwards (Jim) of Greensburg, Ruby Galloway of Greensburg, Russell Dewayne Cox (Lisa) of Greensburg, Bonita Shofner of Campbellsville, Ricky Dale Cox of Campbellsville and Charles Thelbert Cox of Campbellsville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Tallow Creek Cemetery.
