With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Allen Mings of Campbellsville, Kentucky, born in Knifley, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Welby L. Allen and Creola Bowen Allen; her husbands, Maurice Mings and Lewis Hardin; and her siblings, Cecil Thomas Allen, Carlton Glenn Allen, Ruth Elizabeth Brown and Veronica Gordon.
She is survived by: her son James A. Mings (Elaine) of Zelienople, Pennsylvania; her granddaughters, Carole Elaine Webb (Paul) of Beavercreek, OH and Sarah Elizabeth Hart (Stephen) of Beaver Falls, PA; her great grandchildren, Ellia Paige Hart, Mia Claire Hart, Emery Faith Hart, Jon Christian Webb, Austin Webb and Elijah Webb; her great great grandchild Jameson Webb; her siblings, Charles W. R. Allen, W. J. Allen (Marti) of New Castle, IN, Wayne Allen of Newburgh, IN, Maxine Howard of Louisville, KY and Georgia Polston of Fairland, IN; and her sister-in-law Nina Chelf of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Christian Church (831 W Main St, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
