It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Compton of Campbellsville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leslie Gentry and Mary Helen Moran Gentry; her spouse Rev. Carlis Compton; and her siblings, Bobby Gentry and Mildred Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Judd (Jim) of Henderson and Debbie Underwood (Chuck) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Christy Baxter (Jeremy) of Henderson, Nick Underwood of Campbellsville and Emily Mushlock (Josh) of Wyoming; her great grandchildren, Judson Baxter, Natalie Baxter, Blake Middleton, Lyric Dickens (Daniel), Kaleb Underwood, Bailee Willis, Brystol Underwood, Preston Mushlock, Evie Mushlock, Mia Mushlock and Case Mushlock; and her brother Clell Gentry of Greensburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
