We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 83, Lyla Wayne Thurman of Campbellsville, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alfred Wayne and Mary Katherine Lanham Wayne; her husband Joe Thurman; and her son Samuel Wayne Thurman. She is survived by: her brother Thomas "Buggy" Wayne (Betty) of Campbellsville; her nieces, April Higdon and Nikki Edwards (Derek); her nephew A. J. Wayne (Jessica); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cailee Higdon, Maci Higdon, Wonder Edwards, Trace Higdon, Kade Wayne, Briggs Wayne and Wilder Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
