She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Benningfield and Stella Cave Benningfield; her former husband Bro. William Damon McNear; her husband Herbert Caudell; her daughter Janet Mcnear; and her siblings, Charles Benningfield, Jane Thompson and Brenda Norman.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Merritt (Gary), Greg McNear (Brenda) of Campbellsville and Alan McNear of New York City; her grandchildren, Marty McNear (Stacy), Chris McNear and Jessica Brown (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Kasey Gribbins, Dallas Gribbins, Malaya McNear and Kaden McNear; her siblings, Garnett Benningfield, Virginia Borders of Bowling Green and Regina Albright (Leon) of North Manchester, Indiana; and her close friend Carolyn Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
