He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Belmont Rogers and Mayme Gaines Rogers; his wife Julia Wynemia Hayes; his daughter Teresa Hayes Rogers; and his siblings, Clay Rogers, Paul Rogers, Richard Rogers, John Shelby Rogers, Fannie Belle Sapp, Louise Buck and Cleo Fryback.
He is survived by: his grandson Jonathan Whitlow (Laura) of Brandenburg; his great grandchildren, Lauren Elstone, Taylor Elstone, Jaiden Neal, Parker Whitlow, Cooper Whitlow and Ariana Whitlow; his great great grandchildren, Link'yn Elstone and Kingston Proffitt; his sister Margaret Phillips of Campbellsville; and his close friend Ricky Bray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
