With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herlene Kilby of Campbellsville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James McGaha and Lou Vada Wethington Kilby; her spouse Lendolph Kilby; her stepfather Robert Lee Kilby; her daughter Gerrie Parker (Harlin); and her siblings, Naomi Jones, Leona Pike, Ella Wagner, Ruth VanCleave, Elza Kilby, Troy Kilby, Roy Kilby and Howard Kilby.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Matney (Eugene) of Campbellsville; her sister Doris Owens (Bob) of Washington; her brother-in-law Bill VanCleave of Campbellsville; and her grandchildren, Diana Lenington (Roger), Doug Parker (Renee), Kim Knifley (Joe), LeAnne Smith (Jeremy), Amy Hicks (Carl), Renay Wethington (Mike) and Jessica Brumm (Gus).
Memorials are suggested to be donations to Hosparus of Green River or the Cox Cemetery Fund and can be made at the funeral home.
