He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Grant Caulk and Betty Loviel Parrott Caulk; his wife Florine Pierce; his former wife Vonnie Hunt; his son Gerald Shawn Caulk; his grandchildren, David Shannon Rainwater and Bethany Dawn Walker; and his siblings, Howard Dean Caulk, Margaret Opal Rice and Shirley May Fawcett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Miller Rainwater of Columbia, Deborah Miller Mershon (Walter) of Ft. Thomas and Betty Alice Billiot (Bob) of Campbellsville; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Ryan Walker (Sarah) of Lanesville, Justin Tyler Mershon (Molly) of Louisville, Walter Andrew Mershon of Lexington, Miranda Lynn Rainwater of Knifley, Amy Lindley (Rick) of San Diego and Karen Hedgespeth May (Jesse) of Clay City, Kentucky. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
