He was predeceased by: his grandfather Bill Mattingly; and his aunt Nadine Johnson. He is survived by: his father Billy Mattingly; his close friend Janice of Campbellsville; his mother Nancy McNear of Somerset, KY; his grandmother Gladys Mattingly; his wife Melissa Huff McNear; his daughter Addi; his stepchildren, Bobbi Grider, Charlie Underwood (Earl), George Grider, Laura Taylor (Nate) and James Reed Grider; his sisters, Missy Mitchell of Campbellsville and Amanda Mattingly of Campbellsville; his close friends, Jeremy Lotter and Ollie Jones; and his stepmother Sissy McGill. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
