He was predeceased by: his father Doug Sapp. He is survived by: his mother Floy Marple (Cox); his children, Amy Cox (Nicky), Jennifer Grimes and Allison Cheyenne Sapp; his siblings, Carolyn Gail Marple, Christel Spears (Shawn), Barry Marples (Connie), Wayne Sapp and Cathy Pierce; his grandchildren, Kaley Cox, Lane Sapp, Antwone Grimes, Briley Cox, Jayden Grimes and Sky Sapp; and his great grandchildren, Blayne Loy and Waylon Sapp.
