She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Griffin and Susie Caulk Griffin; her husband Nolan Herald Benningfield; her son Jim Benningfield; her grandchildren, Jonathan Lyle Benningfield and Kristen Ann Benningfield; and her sister Helen Griffin Shofner.
She is survived by: her children, John Benningfield (Debbie) and Nola Gaddis (Ritchie) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Jessica Childs (Rich), Faith Gaddis and Joshua Gaddis; her great grandchild Jonathan Coppage; and her daughter-in-law Helen Benningfield. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
