She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Shepherd and Carrie Garman Shepherd; her husband Edgar "Ed" Bennett; her daughter Joyce McNeely; her sons-in-law, Carl McNeely and John McKinley; and her sisters, Claudine Kanode and Rachel Bowen.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanie Tincher (Benny) of Owensboro, Judy Frazer (John) of Campbellsville, Missy McKinley of Greensburg and Eddie Bennett (Andrea) of Campbellsville; and her sisters, Christine Trumbull of Salem and Helen Willis of Springfield, Georgia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
