He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hensley Sr. and Mary Eula Priddy Hensley; and his brothers, Norman Cox and Gene Shines. He is survived by: his wife Mary Harris Hensley; his children, Charles Hensley of Campbellsville, Lisa Cox (Russell) of Greensburg and Robert Hensley of Campbellsville; and his grandsons, Tyler Cox and Nicholas Cox.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery.
