She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin C. Raffety and Gertrude Overton Raffety. She is survived by: her husband Paul Thompson of Campbellsville; her siblings, Gary A. Rafferty (Paula) of Richmond, Virginia and Faye R. Osborne (Kenneth) of Elizabethtown; her siblings-in-law, Billy Thompson (Carolyn), Eva Thompson, Alice Thompson of Campbellsville and Kathey Reed (Bill) of Winchester; her nieces and nephews, Kelli Jeffries (James) of Elizabethtown, Nick Rafferty of Richmond, Virginia, Jonathan Rafferty (Carrie) of Anderson, Bryson Osborne (Michelle) of Greensboro, Chris Thompson (Renee), Jason Thompson, Mark Thompson of Campbellsville and Paul Callison of Green County; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ray Jeffries (Kate) of Elizabethtown, Weston Jeffries (Cassie) of Ratcliff, Maura McPeek (Braden) of Rineyville, Aidyn Osborne of Greensboro, Ava Rafferty, Lucas Rafferty, Cavan Rafferty of Anderson, John Thompson, Amber Thompson, Austin Thompson of Campbellsville and Lennon Winters of Mt. Sterling; and her cousin Jessie Newton of Marion County. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

She was an animal lover, especially cats and often took in stray cats and paid for their care at The Animal Hospital and left donations to help care for other animals.
