It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Jewell Newby McMannis of Campbellsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Lee "Jim" McMannis; her parents, Joseph Newby and Pearl Alexander Newby; her children, Karen Booth and Dennis McMannis; and her siblings, Pauline Watkins, Wanda Teague, Bobby Newby and Wilford Bain "Wick" Newby.
She is survived by: her son Darrin McMannis (Darlene) of Ghent, KY; her sister Judy Bishop of Carrollton, KY.; her grandchildren, Amy Campbell (Chad), Emilee Bess (Jody), Amanda Simeons, Jeremy Jines (Kelli) and Jason Wallace; and her great grandchildren, Addyson, Bexley, Evan, Finley, Sidney, Hailey, Josh, Dylan and Mackdalina.
