She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Elliott "Jack" and Bertha Pearl Oldham Acree (Robertson); her husband Vernon Hayward Pyles; her daughter Anita Fay Croley; her grandson David S. Willhite; and her siblings, Ruby Royse, Catherine Stoess, Dorothy Acree, Eldena Ash, Charles, Abb, Robert, Johnny Acree, Roy and J. D. Oldham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Ray (Ronald Willhite) and Verna Kay (Stephen Smith); her grandchildren, Todd Allen LeCompte, Chris Willhite (Paige), Leigh Ann Foster (Craig), Lesley Lantz (Brad), Jeff Willhite (Meagan) and Daniel Gossom; her stepgrandson Stephen Smith, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Jack, Conner Willhite, Devin, Graham Foster, Lincoln, Reid Willhite, Abby Kate and Tyler Lantz; and her stepgreat-grandson Luca Johnson.
